* hold the fort: 요새를 지키다. 장난스럽게 직장, 일자리, 사무실 등을 잘 지키라는 말로 사용합니다. 그냥 'hold the fort'라고도 합니다. Hold the fort down.이라고 해도 되는 표현인데, You hold the fort.라고 한 것은 상대방 You를 강조하기 위한 표현입니다.
