Happy New Year

 

No more champagne                                            And the fireworks are through
Here we are, me and you                                       Feeling lost and feeling blue
It's the end of the party                                         And the morning seems so grey
So unlike yesterday                                               Now's the time for us to say

샴페인도 다 떨어지고 불꽃놀이도 끝났어요.  이제 당신과 나는 여기에  씁쓸히 갈 길을 몰라 헤매고 있어요. 파티가 끝나고 맞는 아침은 너무도 쓸쓸해요. 어제와는 정말 다르군요  이제 이렇게 말할 시간이에요.

 

새해 복 많이 받으세요  세상 모든 이웃들이 친구가 될 수 있을 거라는 희망을 갖게 되길 바래요
행복한 새해 맞이 하세요   모두 희망과 도전할 의지를 갖기를 빌어요  그렇지 않으면 누운 채 죽어 있는 것과 다를게 없잖아요, 우리 함께...

 

때로 나는 세상이 얼마나 용감하게  시대를 살아 왔는지 알게 되요 그리고 인생의 파편을 딛고 번성해 온 것도 깨닫게 되죠.
그래요, 인간은 아무 것도 모른 채 그냥 잘 될거라 생각하고 있어요. 
진흙탕에 빠진 발을 끌고 있지만 길을 잃고 헤매고 있다는 걸 몰라요 계속 앞으로 나아갈 뿐이에요.

 

예전에 간직했던 꿈들은 이제 모두  사라지고 남은 건 마룻바닥에 흩어진 색종이 조각들 뿐이에요
1970년대가 막바지에 다다랐어요 또 10년이 지나고 나면 우리가 무엇을 찾게 될지, 무엇이 우리를
기다리고 있을지 누가 알겠어요? 1989년의 마지막이 되면 말이에요..
